Eleanor Lee is a London-based Korean composer, producer, singer-songwriter, and interdisciplinary artist. Her music embodies an interdisciplinary approach that is influenced by contemporary art, exploring between many genres such as instrumental music and film music to contemporary music, sound art, ambient and popular music. Raised by parents who are a classical musician and an ethicist, Eleanor Lee began to express her profound reflections on the world and society through her music. She continuously explores hidden dimensions through ever-changing waveforms, constructing a unique musical universe.

From 2020 to 2021, Eleanor Lee was a member of 'Mooyoung,' a collective of young multidisciplinary artists based in Seoul, and embarked on her career as an interdisciplinary artist by holding solo exhibitions. Currently, she is studying Popular Music Production at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where she delves into various forms and genres of music. Eleanor also currently co-running Guildhall Interdisciplinary Art Society @Sound Art Collective with composer Finty Woolf, based in London.

Eleanor Lee believes that music, beyond being a mere auditory experience, can evolve into a multifaceted art form encompassing social, political, and economic critique, and she aspires to create research-based music and the method of sonic fiction.

엘레노어 리는 런던 기반의 한국인 작곡가, 프로듀서, 싱어송라이터 겸 다원예술가이다. 그녀의 음악은 다학문적 접근과 현대미술의 영향을 받아 인스트루멘탈 뮤직, 영화음악, 현대음악, 사운드아트, 앰비언트와 대중음악 등 다양한 장르를 탐험한다. 윤리학자와 클래식 음악가인 부모님 사이에서 자란 엘레노어 리는 세상과 사회에 대한 깊은 성찰을 음악을 통해 표현하기 시작했다. 그녀는 끊임없이 변화하는 파형을 통해 숨겨진 시공간을 탐구하며, 독창적인 음악 세계를 구축한다.

2020년부터 2021년까지 엘레노어 리는 서울을 기반으로 한 젊은 다원예술가 팀 '무영'의 멤버로 활동하고 개인 다원예술 전시회를 개최하는 등 본격적으로 다원예술가로서의 작업을 시작하였다. 현재는 런던의 길드홀 음악학교에서 대중음악 프로덕션을 전공하며 다양한 형태와 장르의 음악을 탐구하고 있으며, 길드홀 다원예술 소사이어티 @사운드 아트 소사이어티를 작곡가 핀티 울프와 함께 런던에서 공동 운영하고 있다.

엘레노어 리는 사운드 아트뿐만 아니라 더욱 다양한 장르의 음악이 단순한 청각적 경험을 넘어, 사회적, 정치적, 경제적 비판을 포함한 다층적인 예술로 확장될 수 있다고 믿으며, 리서치 베이스 음악과 소닉 픽션을 지향하고 있다.
