"Blue is for Boys" is a short documentary that delves into the relationship between art and gender norms through the lens of an art student. The film follows the creative journey of Daniel Connolly as he creates a self-portrait about his own experiences with gender identity and expression. This was filmed in the span of a few weeks as part of an assignment during my exchange semester at the University of Applied Sciences in Turku, Finland. Big thank you to Daniel Connolly for telling your story and allowing me to document your creative process and Eleanor Lee for composing the music for the documentary.
Blue is for Boys는 한 예술가의 시선을 통해 예술과 젠더 규범의 관계를 탐구하는 단편 다큐멘터리이다. 이 영화는 다니엘 코놀리(Daniel Connolly)가 자신의 젠더 정체성과 표현에 대한 경험을 담아 자화상을 제작하는 창작 여정을 따라간다.
